We'll Miss You, Julia Sugarbaker

I'm so sad to hear about the death of Dixie Carter. I was a huge fan and to this day, Designing Women remains my all-time favorite TV show.

In tribute, here's a clip of one of my favorite Julia Sugarbaker moments!

I loved that show, too, but haven't seen it in way too long! I have always remembered that scene and so admired the way Julia stuck up for Suzanne...and I loved that Suzanne got to hear it. =) Julia Sugarbaker was a classic character and I think only Dixie Carter could have played her. Sad that she's gone! =(

Kristen,
I wish Lifetime still showed it! I might have to break down and buy the first few seasons on DVD. :)

It is ten days later, and I am just hearing of her death from reading this post. I have been deliberately switching off the news these days... unfortunately, I miss things like this.

What a great talent! I KNEW before I ever clicked the video link which clip it would be. Classic Julia. Her best moment.

RIP
